Rates for commissions are, by necessity, determined on an individual basis according to the details of the shoot.

A typical studio shoot for a private commission will last around 3 hours. The client will receive a CD of at least twenty (invariably more) index images from the shoot from which to make their selection. Retouching of the final images, if considered necessary, is included. In addition to the selected prints, the client will also receive the images on DVD or CD. Four 10" x 8" or A4 unmounted prints, or a single mounted image (16" x 20" mount, as below) is included in the standard package.

Prints:

16" x 20" (40cm x 50cm) mounted prints: £60

Signed, open edition prints.

Prints are supplied with a slightly oversize mount (with a backing board) in order to fit a standard 16" x 20" (40cm x 50cm) frame. (Being oversize the mount can be trimmed down for custom frame sizes.)
The size of the image varies according to the crop that suits the image best - as a rule the image will be approximately 8" x 13" (25cm x 33cm).
Frames can be supplied - I use a modern style, narrow profile matt black aluminium frame. (Further details and pricing for frames upon request.)
Supplied in a sealed (acid-free) paper/plastic sleeve.

8¼" x 11¾" unmounted prints: £15

Unsigned, open edition prints.

Unmounted prints with a white border, supplied in a protective clear PVC sleeve with a backing card for rigidity. The size of the image is generally around 7¼" x 10".

8" x 10" (20cm x 25cm) mounted prints: £15

Unsigned, open edition prints.

Mounted, unbacked print - the image size is generally around 5" x 7".
Supplied in a sealed (acid-free) paper/plastic sleeve.

Materials:

The photographs are printed with lightfast pigment-based ink on matte archival paper (an estimated life of 75 years or more, although I haven't tested that bit yet!) unless otherwise stated. (Prints on lustre or gloss papers will be noted accordingly.) Mounts supplied are white, and the larger sizes have a backing board fitted.

Larger or smaller prints can be produced on request, and Giclée prints can be obtained to special order.

Availability:

If not in stock, any specific print can usually be supplied within about five working days following receipt of the order.

Postage and packing:

For a single 16" x 20" mounted print (sent in a reinforced and padded envelope): £8
For the smaller size prints (sent in a rigid envelope): £2
Recorded/Special Delivery/Insurance options available, rates varying according to weight and value.

Multiple items in an order will be despatched together, thus reducing postage costs.

The above postage rates are for the UK - overseas shipping will be determined according to destination, weight, value and means of shipping on an order-by-order basis.
